My name is Eurus Chen. Growing up in China, I was privileged to be raised amongst the guardians of Intangible Cultural Heritage. For my family, protecting the past was a daily devotion. It was in those formative years that I learned to touch history—to feel the meticulous detail and cultural depth that only human hands can create.

Of all the crafts I encountered, bamboo weaving captivated me most. I watched its journey from a celebrated export of the 20th century to a quiet art form, gradually overshadowed by the speed of 21st-century machinery. It pained me to see such elegance facing silence.

I spent a long time searching for an answer: How does a traditional craft survive the tides of a new era?

The answer, I realised, lies not in preservation alone, but in evolution.

For tradition to live, it must breathe the air of the present. It must find a 'breakthrough point' where heritage meets modern aesthetics. This vision gave birth to Bamboura.

We have reimagined this ancient craft for the contemporary world. By blending fashion-forward design with the inherent virtues of bamboo—its surprising lightness, its eco-friendly soul, and its natural grace—we are bringing a breath of nature to modern style.
