We travel deep into the mountains to select bamboo that has grown for over three years. By hand, we split every strip until it is just 0.5 millimetres thick — about the same as a sheet of paper.

It takes 12 careful steps to complete each piece. Through hundreds of weaving movements and gentle heating over a slow fire, we tame the strong bamboo into soft, elegant curves. Finally, we add a sparkling zircon. This gives the natural material a beautiful glow, just like the bright moon.

Preserving the Weave: Bamboo thrives in fresh air. To prevent mould, please store your Bamboura in a dry, well-ventilated space. Should it require cleaning, a gentle dust with a soft, dry cloth is all that is needed. Please avoid soaking or harsh chemicals.

A Note on Safety: While finished with care, bamboo is a natural material. Please keep this piece at a safe distance from candles or open fires. In the unlikely event of breakage, please handle with caution as edges may be sharp.
