Trapped in a Glass Box
Growing up around China’s traditional crafts, I noticed something sad: the more "special" an art form gets, the more it fades away. For centuries, bamboo weaving was just a normal part of everyday life. But now? I watch this amazing, super-tough craft get treated like a fancy gift you just leave on a shelf. It’s beautiful, yeah, but it’s stuck in a glass box, basically dying out.
Breaking the Rules
I clocked that to actually save this art, we can’t just lock it in a museum. It needs to be worn, used, and loved out in the real world. It has to break out of the display case and land straight in a modern wardrobe. For us, the best way to protect history is to let it evolve.
