Shipping policy

As all our products—including our customized bamboo weaving and leather crafts—are purely handmade, the production process is intricate and requires time to perfect. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

Production Time

Each piece is unique, so we’ve listed the handling time for every item on its own product page to help with your shopping.

Please note: At Bamboura, we celebrate the art of slow fashion. Every production is hand-woven by skilled artisans, a process that requires significant preparation and time.

If you’re ordering from within the UK, you’ve got 14 days to cancel or return your order for any reason—no questions asked. Just make sure the item is unworn, in its original packaging with the tags still on, and that you have your proof of purchase.

Should you wish to cancel your order, please notify us within the 14-day (fortnight) grace period following your payment. Due to the immediate allocation of materials and artisan labour, the following service fees apply to all cancellations:

48-Hour Grace Period: Changed your mind? No problem. Cancel within 2 days for a 100% refund.

Starting the Prep (Days 3-7): After 48 hours, our artisans start sourcing and prepping the specific bamboo and other material. If you cancel now, we’ll refund 85% of your payment to cover these initial prep costs.

Into the Craft (After Day 7): By now, your bag is coming to life! Since the weaving is custom-started, cancellations will receive a 50% refund to honor the hours of handwork already invested by our craftspeople.

Dispatch & Delivery

To ensure your order arrives safely, we use premium tracked couriers for all our deliveries. We aim to ship worldwide; however, if our carriers cannot service your specific location, we won't be able to process the order. If you’re unsure about delivery to your area, please get in touch and we’ll check for you.

Delivery usually takes 5 to 7 working days, depending on your destination.

We are currently based in the UK and our primary delivery service is for British customers. If you are ordering from outside the UK, please get in touch via email to confirm if we can deliver to your location before placing your order.

 

 

Packaging & Protection

We provide professional, protective packaging for every order to ensure it arrives safely. To offer the best protection, packaging is often customized to fit the specific size and shape of the piece. For bespoke packaging enquiries, please get in touch with us via gifting.

Please check your order on arrival. If anything is damaged, faulty, or you've received the wrong item, please get in touch straight away. We’ll look into it immediately and sort it out for you.

 

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number. You can monitor the status of your delivery at any time via the courier’s official website or app.

 

 

Inspection upon Receipt

Please inspect the packaging carefully upon arrival. If you notice any damage sustained during transit, or if the item does not match your order, please contact us immediately. We will resolve the issue for you as a priority.
